Hi! I’m Erynn (she/her).
I’m a current junior at Tufts, where I study Cognitive and Brain Science and Computer Science. With my passions in neuroscience, culture, identity, and music, I’m interested in learning more about the stakeholders between creativity, thinking, and tech – hence why I’m excited for my core course, the Cognitive Neuroscience of Creativity.
As a Filipina from New York, exploring food has always been one of my favorite activities. I love a hot bowl of Sinigang as much as I love a stacked NYC bagel. Trying out new cuisines while going back to creating the dishes I love is the best form of self-care.
Growing up studying vocal music, I did some cool performances, from singing on stage with David Byrne to singing on Wye Oak’s 2020 album, No Horizon. I’ve co-hosted a radio show, Aftertaste, with my good friend Amalia, for the past year and a half.
What is a Soundbite?
A soundbite is a brief, striking remark or statement that is meant to capture the interest and attention of an audience.
In the more literal sense, I hope to use this blog as an amalgamation of all the sounds and songs I hear, the bites and drinks I explore, and the *soundbites* of the people, texts, conversations I encounter during my time in Copenhagen. I hope you’ll join me for the ride – I’m so excited for what’s to come!
